Whether you are a creator, dreamer, or beginner yogi looking to cultivate a life of meaning, purpose, and sustainability, Kicking Asana offers a supported system to help you reach your goals and develop a happy and healthy life.
Born and raised in Southern California, I began practicing yoga in 2013 and completed my 200-hr teacher training in 2016. The pull to yoga was driven by my insatiable need for “me-time” which I found quickly on my mat.
I learned the hard way how destructive my “former life” of constant working and binge partying was. With diagnosed chronic migraines that checked me out of the real world for days at a time, I lived each day in fear of my next episode and depressed at my 10+ hour work day. I needed a change, an escape, and I found it in yoga. Through a dance of my body and breath, I fell in love with the physical and mental benefits my yoga practice brought me. I began to pay closer attention to my body and mind off the mat, and ultimately dove into the world of holistic healing, spirituality, and personal development.
With a degree and background in marketing, I knew the next step would be to integrate my passion into my career and bring inspiration and light into other’s lives as my teachers had in mine. I broke chains that no longer served me and devoted my time fully to writing, yoga, and wellness to create Kicking Asana.
Through Kicking Asana, I’ve had the opportunity to meet and collaborate with individuals and brands at the forefront of the consciousness revolution taking place in our era. It is a genuine intention that I aim to connect and inspire my community to live a life of abundance, love and good health.
